The error asset.offline#

environment: something the run needs is missing or different where it runs (a package, a file, a device, the network): the error names what to install, fetch or attach.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/assets/_fetch.py:

    • what happened: {…} {…} and {…} is set, so nothing is downloaded (the cache is {…})

    • what to do: fetch it on a machine with network access and copy the file to {…}, then run ''{…}'' again (it hashes the file and downloads nothing), or unset {…}

  • in mime/assets/_fetch.py:

    • what happened: {…} is not cached, and {…} is set, so nothing is downloaded

    • what to do: unset {…} ('unset {…}'), or pass the file you copied here

  • in mime/saved/_pull.py:

    • what happened: {…} is not on this machine, and {…} is set, so nothing is downloaded

    • what to do: unset {…}, or give the bundle as a file: 'mime pull <file>'

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
