The error credentials.in-git-tree

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

• in mime/credentials/_store.py:

  • what happened: the credentials file would be {…}, inside the git working tree {…}, where a commit could publish it

  • what to do: move your config directory out of the repository: XDG_CONFIG_HOME=<a directory outside it> on Linux
