The error drag.mrs-indefinite#

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/nodes/hydro/mrs/_node.py:

    • what happened: its resistance turned indefinite at its step {…} (t = {…} s), and the run stopped there, before the body took it: its least eigenvalue, each row and column scaled by its diagonal, was {…} ({…}), at the pose ({…}) mm, quaternion ({…}), with no wall: the discretisation, as the study's leaves moved it, does not resolve its blob

    • what to do: write a smaller blob or a larger quadrature_refinement: Drag.MRS(blob=..., quadrature_refinement=...)

  • in mime/nodes/hydro/mrs/_node.py:

    • what happened: its resistance turned indefinite at its step {…} (t = {…} s), and the run stopped there, before the body took it: its least eigenvalue, each row and column scaled by its diagonal, was {…} ({…}), at the pose ({…}) mm, quaternion ({…}){…}; the force points do not resolve the wall's image there (MIME-ANO-130)

    • what to do: {…}: {…}, {…} of the force spacing it ran with ({…} mm), outside the band where the resistance was measured indefinite; with a smaller margin, write a force spacing of at most the margin over {…} as well, Drag.MRS(spacing=...). {…} or write a force spacing of at most {…} mm, the body's least distance from the wall there over {…} (closer, the resistance was measured indefinite), Drag.MRS(spacing=mm({…})); or {…}. {…} or the body was {…} mm from the wall, {…} force spacings, outside the band where the resistance was measured indefinite, so no finer spacing than the {…} mm it ran with follows from that band: write a smaller one, Drag.MRS(spacing=mm({…})) halves it, and report the case (MIME-ANO-130). {…}
