The error lag.unplanned#

internal: a check on MIME’s own construction, which no supported script should reach: a MIME defect, to report with the file the error names; or an error MIME raised with no code yet (error.uncoded), keeping its own class, to report so that it gets one.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/build/_lags.py:

    • what happened: the edge {…}, built by {…}, carries a {…} and reads it from the previous step: it closes a feedback loop through {…} that no coupling group solves and that no start-of-step read of a thing's state plans

    • what to do: a defect in how {…} or the dynamics it reaches is built: solve the loop together (a coupling group requested in a plan), or have the reader read the thing's state rather than a delivered value. If it is MIME's: {…}

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
