The error live.remote-bind#

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/live/_serve.py:

    • what happened: (built where it is given, so not read here)

    • what to do: give tcp://<host>:<port>, such as --commands tcp://127.0.0.1:5555

  • in mime/live/_serve.py:

    • what happened: {…} is not a loopback address, and a live session has no authentication of its own

    • what to do: keep it on localhost and reach it through an SSH tunnel (ssh -L 5555:localhost:5555 -L 5556:localhost:5556 <host>), or pass --remote to bind it all the same

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
