The error magnet.direction-missing#

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/build/_plan.py:

    • what happened: {…} has no direction: a part declared in the experiment has no prim to carry it, and MIME assumes no axis

    • what to do: pass PermanentMagnet(direction=(x, y, z)) in the part's frame

  • in mime/build/_plan.py:

    • what happened: {…} has no direction: its prim {…} carries no {…}, and the experiment declares none, and MIME assumes no axis

    • what to do: write it on the part's prim with the {…} schema, or pass PermanentMagnet(direction=(x, y, z)) in the part's frame

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
