The error parts.inertia-axes#
user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.
Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):
in
mime/things/_parts.py:what happened:
body {…}'s parts give an inertia tensor whose principal axes are not the body frame's: a product of inertia of {…} kg m^2 against {…} kg m^2 on the diagonal the tensor about the body's centre of mass, in the body's frame (kg m^2): {…} its principal moments, with their axes in the body's frame: {…} its axes lie at most {…} degrees from the body's (axes of moments that nearly agree turn easily), and its principal moments differ from the diagonal's by at most {…}% of the largestwhat to do:
declare the moments about the body's axes with the products dropped, {…}, or place the parts symmetrically about the body frame's axes, Part(..., at=...)orplace the parts symmetrically about the body frame's axes, Part(..., at=...), since the products are {…}% of the largest moment, above the {…}% past which dropping them is not offered first (the diagonal's moments lie {…}% of the largest from the tensor's principal moments, and the tensor's axes {…} degrees from the body's); or, to use the diagonal all the same, declare the moments about the body's axes with the products dropped, {…}
