The error parts.several-magnets#

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/things/_parts.py:

    • what happened: body {…} has {…} magnets ({…}): a field's gradient pulls on each where it sits, which one centroid does not hold

    • what to do: keep one magnet in the body, or declare its magnet_centre with its reason, the lever the force acts at: exp.declare("<body>.magnet_centre", m((...)), reason="...")

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
