The error post-build.host-callback#

internal: a check on MIME’s own construction, which no supported script should reach: a MIME defect, to report with the file the error names; or an error MIME raised with no code yet (error.uncoded), keeping its own class, to report so that it gets one.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/build/_construct.py:

    • what happened: node {…} calls the host from its step code ({…}): a run is one compiled step, scanned, with no Python inside a step, and nothing on the host runs between compiled calls unless the run's structure names it

    • what to do: remove the callback from the node's update or compute_boundary_fluxes (jax.debug.print included); it is a defect of the entry defined in {…}. If that is MIME: {…}

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
