The error run.chunks#

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/control/_run.py:

    • what happened: a run of {…} base steps ({…} s) is not a whole number of chunks of {…} steps ({…} s)

    • what to do: run a whole number of chunks: run(s(...)) of {…}

  • in mime/experiment/_experiment.py:

    • what happened: chunk= sizes the chunks of a run with a hook and no controller; a controller's chunks are its control period

    • what to do: drop chunk=, or pass hook= with it and no controller

  • in mime/experiment/_experiment.py:

    • what happened: a hook needs chunks: it is called between them, and this run has none

    • what to do: pass chunk=, a whole number of base steps: run(..., hook=hook, chunk=ms(10))

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
