The error terms.file#

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/saved/_terms.py:

    • what happened: {…} are {…}, not a mime.terms.Terms

    • what to do: declare a third-party file's terms where the file is declared, asset(path, terms=Terms(...)), then save the experiment again: built.save(folder)

  • in mime/saved/_terms.py:

    • what happened: {…} give no credit: name whom its licence asks to be credited

    • what to do: write credit="<the rights holder, as its licence asks>" in its Terms

  • in mime/saved/_terms.py:

    • what happened: {…} give the role {…}: a file is one results depend on ("results") or one that only draws the scene ("presentation")

    • what to do: write role="results" or role="presentation" in its Terms

  • in mime/saved/_terms.py:

    • what happened: terms are declared for {…}, which is not a layer or a description the experiment saves

    • what to do: declare a third-party file's terms where the file is declared, asset(path, terms=Terms(...)), then save the experiment again: built.save(folder)

  • in mime/saved/_terms.py:

    • what happened: the terms of {…} were declared for the bytes {…}, and the file has {…}: a changed file inherits nothing

    • what to do: declare a third-party file's terms where the file is declared, asset(path, terms=Terms(...)), then save the experiment again: built.save(folder)

  • in mime/saved/_terms.py:

    • what happened: {…} is declared with two different terms

    • what to do: declare a third-party file's terms where the file is declared, asset(path, terms=Terms(...)), then save the experiment again: built.save(folder)

  • in mime/saved/_terms.py:

    • what happened: {…} and {…} hold the same bytes (sha256 {…}) and are declared with different terms: each copy of a file is declared with its terms, and one file's bytes have one set of terms

    • what to do: declare the same terms on each copy, asset(path, terms=Terms(...)), or keep one copy and reference it at each prim; then save the experiment again: built.save(folder)

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
