The error value.units#

user: the script can change it: the error says what happened in the experiment’s names, and what to write instead.

Where MIME gives it, with what its message says happened and what its action says to do ({…} is filled in from the experiment):

  • in mime/build/_plan.py:

    • what happened: the declared value {…} is {…}, not a quantity

    • what to do: declare it as a quantity with its units, such as kg(8.5e-5)

  • in mime/materials/_values.py:

    • what happened: (built where it is given, so not read here)

    • what to do: declare {…}'s magnitude in units of {…}: exp.declare({…}, ...)

  • in mime/materials/_values.py:

    • what happened: (built where it is given, so not read here)

    • what to do: declare {…} as {…}, in units of {…}: exp.declare({…}, ...)

Reading an error and reaching its full traceback: reading an error. Every code: the index.
